Vday Story. idk how to start but here it is. so this guy na binasted ng ilang beses for some reason nagkausap ulit kami and he casually asked me lang din kung may plans ba ko that feb14. weekday yun so told him na work lang naman then he asked me if ok lang na magdate kami, be his girlfriend lang that night para lang daw di masabi na di sya binasted. he basically told me na give him just one date before kami mag part ways na talaga as in end na kasi nakailang "no" na din ako sa kanya kaya i said sure why not. then he told me he'll prepare nalang daw everything and will pick me up nalang. feb14 came, he picked me up, brought me sa isang fancy italian restau. and girl he was all out nung night kasi yung table na nakareserve has a bouquet of flowers sa table and this small paperbag na gift nya. nasurprise ako and no lies that got me thinking na so pag bf ko sya ganito sya karomantic. so ayun we were enjoying our food&wine, kwento. then malapit na matapos ang gabi he jokingly said na night is ending na so break na tayo? and i was like umm bakit need pa magbreak. and that's my vday story and we're still together pa din. just thought of sharing lang kasi i still smile everytime i think of that night. ayun lang po have a great night charm ☺️

A candidate short-period sub-Earth orbiting Proxima Centauri

Astronomers have discovered a third planet, about twice the size of Mars, orbiting Earth's nearest neighbor.

Alpha Centauri is approximately 4.37 light years from our Sun. It is a trinary star: a system with three stars orbiting each other. The red dwarf Proxima Centauri is the closest of the three stars, approximately 4.2 light years away from us.

Astronomers have previously discovered two other planets orbiting Proxima Centauri: Proxima b, discovered in 2016, and Proxima c, discovered in 2020. The new planet, Proxima d, was first observed in 2020, but it was confirmed-and-formally-published just last week.

Proxima d has only one-fourth the mass of Earth, or around twice the mass of Mars. It is also much closer to Proxima Centauri than Earth is to Sol, completing an orbit in just over five Earth days. Proxima c is about seven times as massive as Earth. It is much further away from its star, taking around 5¼ Earth years to complete a single orbit.

Proxima b is also closer to its star than Earth is to Sol, completing an orbit every 11 Earth days or so. Nevertheless, it orbits within the "circumstellar habitable zone," meaning that if it has a sufficient atmosphere--which is unknown--its surface could theoretically support liquid water. Proxima c is too far away from Proxima Centauri to be in the habitable zone, and Proxima d is too close.
