i realise my descriptions of tsdosf have been fairly vague for the sake of upholding the mystery and magic, so here are all the basisc !!
stand-alone dark romantic fantasy novel
angels and demons
light-hearted (generally) despite sometimes dark content
content warnings only for strong violence/blood/etc. (I will always tag)
focusing on the central character, SORROW FAIR, an angel (referred to in-world often as a godwalker) who is characterised by her snark and devil-may-care attitude
a romance between sorrow fair and the demon prince DAMIEN DREAR, seemingly doomed from irreconcilable differences?
includes minor characters EMELYN FISH (human, known as Lyn) and HELENA HALLOW (goddess), whose own rather unfortunate love story is what started this whole mess
at the request of helena, sorrow descends into hell to retrieve the missing soul of lyn fish, a human from the surface world. during her journey she saves damien from kidnappers to kidnap him herself. little do they know that their actions could have terrible consequences for their world...

an adaptation of my Dragon Age: Origins Warden. in Thedas Emelyn was born to barbarians but then abducted by the church; Her Chantry training would have been, in D&D terms, wizard-like.
If not raised by the church, or in Faerun instead, I imagine she would be a druid (or shaman). In BG3, the druid's default outfit with the pelts & leafy pauldrons and leather tabbard-type thing with straps look roughly DA:O mage outfit-like.
