if you had asked dinah moments prior to joining the fight back in the 70′s how she felt about her husband, the blonde would’ve had a few choice words for you. this was nothing new for them, but it’s that fact alone that had the two on a slow decline to the conversation no married couple ever wanted to have. deciding to leave it up for discussion for when she returned from their mission was just about the smartest thing she’s ever done, seeing as that delayed the decision nearly a year’s time. and in that year, though it took some swallowing of her pride, dinah realized a life without the archer wasn’t something she wanted. they were meant to work things out, to find their way back to one another - for better or for worse, wasn’t it?
the last thing she suspected was for him to follow her and their teammates through time and to xavier’s, but when she’s laying her eyes on him after all this time, she’s pleasantly surprised. though she’ll try to remain her somewhat collected demeanor, lip caught between her teeth as arms lifted to rest across her chest. “you know... you look a lot like my husband.”
