Thoughts on qingxuan? 😳

ending spoilers

what is there not to love about qingxuan.... i’ve seen some ppl say they’re too one-dimensional as a character but i don’t really agree, or at least i don’t think it’s a problem because they’re very much a side character lol. i really like how their personality didn’t fundamentally change despite everything that happened to them, i think it would’ve been too tragic if it had.. it may seem like kind of a cop-out to just keep the Fun Bubbly Character fun and bubbly, but i think it’s one of the many awesome ways that sqx mirrors xie lian (which is why i love them soooo much as friends)

and while i’m glad that they were more or less happy to just stay where they ended up after book 5, i do think it’s INSANE that nobody bothered to help them more. like you’re just gonna let them live in dirt? i guess they did that to xl too but i also don’t fully understand/remember what even happened to them during the Incident. like they stopped being a god.. but how? anyway

My friend @em-draws (who is an amazing artist you should check her out <3) and I found this shitty art program that allows 2 people to draw on the same canvas online. It was basically just MS Paint. I almost cried it was so awful. But we somehow managed to create this bootiful bab together. <3
