“Is that... an arrow... are you... are you shooting ARROWS?”
Well Arthur uses a TRIDENT and Diana has a big ass SWORD, so sure, why not ARROWS?

Carol laughed as she shook her head at him. “Oliver, when have you ever known Hal Jordan to be on time?” She asked before finishing off her own drink and nodding in agreement once the bartender took notice of them. She llooked at him and shrugged. “Space time is worse than our time. Half the time we don’t know if it’s been two months or just a week.” Carol shrugged before her eyes sparkled at him. “As much as I love the rings of Saturn, I didn’t go there this time. Hal and I ended up on a joint mission against the Red Lanterns. It was meant to be a peace making mission but you know Hal and me, it didn’t go well so there was a lot of blood shed and more than a few space battles. They aren’t as glamorous as Star Wars make them out to be.” She shook her head as she sipped the whiskey in her hand before looking at Oliver with a raised brow. “Nothing too exciting. How have you been, Ollie? Anything exciting happen while we were gone?”
Emiko pulled off her hood and wiped the sweat from her forehead. “Whatever, my point is that I shot at least ten. You shot nine and Dinah got the rest. I think I’ve earned the title of partner ten-fold, big brother.” Emiko smirked at Oliver her hands running through her hair. It had been quite a night and they left a mess for the SPD. Emi didn’t get to go out as much as she liked, she bounced between school life and training and the teen titans and home that getting some time with Oliver and Dinah was kinda a big deal to her.
“So dinner then? I’m starving and I still gotta go home and read for that stupid Literature class.” Emi saw something out of the corner of her eye that jumped onto a roof, she turned around, gripping on to her bow. Maybe she was just jumpy, she thought. It must have been a bird landing on one of the roofs, they had gotten everyone.
She heard the whizz of the arrow before she could see it. Emi knew it came from somewhere on their left and was coming straight for them. She didn’t have enough time to react, it was either get her arrow out of the quiver and shoot or get Oliver out of the way.
She would choose Oliver every time.
“Ollie!” She screamed and launched herself at him and used her small body to try and knock him out of the way. She felt the first arrow hit her shoulder, the second missed, the third went somewhere between her ribs. Emi had never experienced this type of pain before. She’s been beaten up plenty of times, broken a couple of bones but the metallic taste of her own blood and the excruciating pain was something else entirely.

“She said, ‘Ain’t no other girl gonna love you like me’,” Oliver told his friend as they stood by the Batmobile, waiting for the rest of League to finish gathering. They were coming up with a plan of action. It was nearly time to review the members of the League and see who would be brought in as a new member if any. Oliver was basically an associate. He didn’t see himself as part of the team. However, the others seemed to ignore that perspective and invited him into this meeting anyway.
While they sat and waited, Ollie’s eyes stayed on the Black Canary, his pretty bird, as she spoke with Wonder Woman. The two were in deep conversation about… Well, God knew what. Oliver wouldn’t try to guess.
“Do you think she’s telling the truth or is that an exaggeration?” He turned his gaze to Hal, clearly interested to hear his friend’s opinion on the subject. Dinah was the first real relationship Ollie had had in… Well, probably ever. Commitment had always been an issue for Ollie. But Dinah? She made him feel differently about that.
Hal followed Ollie’s gaze to Dinah as he spoke, glancing between the two of them, and he nobly resisted the urge to wave his hand in front of the other’s eyes. Ollie would come back to earth when he was ready, when he would need to make sure he had Hal’s full attention.
“Who knows, man.” As much as he wanted to give Ollie the answers- he was hardly an expert on love... and hardly a paragon of functional relationships himself. “I mean, she’s probably right, though. No one’s been through the things with you that Dinah has.” As an understatement. The three of them- hell, the whole team had been through some intense stuff together, but Arrow and Canary... there was a deeper tie there than for most of them.
“What do you feel about it?”

Lois, why are you messing with my villains?
“Because I’m Lois Lane.”

“All right, Oliver,” Clark said as he looked at the photographs on the table and scrutinized them. “What am I look at here?”
“Ugh, gross. Put some clothes on.”
