Please Help With Shipping Costs & Other Expenses to Relocate

As mentioned in my previous post, I am having to relocate on short notice. To avoid becoming completely homeless and ending up on the streets, I have had to contact my family, whom I have little to no contact with in years, since leaving my home state, and am in the process of returning to the area where I spent over two decades struggling to survive verbal, psychological, and physical abuses at the hands of multiple abusers, including my ex-husband.

I left the state back in 2012 to gain as much physical distance between myself and him as I could possibly afford to do at the time, to get away from his stalking me at work and his continued death threats when I refused to return to him. The police did next to nothing about any of that, so I had to do what I could for myself, especially with the C-PTSD resulting from a decade of abuse at his hands in mind.

Now I have no other options but to return there. My flight is booked for the first week of July 2019. As I certainly can’t afford to hire any kind of moving service right now, I am currently planning on shipping my belongings ahead of myself. 

The best I have been able to estimate that this will cost is roughly $500. I currently have $60, as of June 18, 2019.

I need to have everything shipped before the end of June 2019. I am already getting rid of so much, and am down the bare basics that I am packing the last of. But there are still clothes, my desktop computer, and general goods that I will not be able to replace anytime soon (if ever, as I am no longer fit to work due to disabilities), that I need to move.

Please, if you can help at all, whether through donation or reblogging to help others find this, I need help, and I only have a little over a week left.

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped either by donating and/or signal boosting. I was able to get just enough together to be able to ship the bulk of my belongings, so that they will be there the day after I arrive myself.

I still have 6 more boxes to ship, however, which estimated cost for such is till another $200 (the shipping for the other 8 totalled $362 and some change). While my current roommates have promised to hold onto them and send them when I’m able to send them the money to cover the cost, you can imagine why I am reluctant to do so if I can get the money together before my flight in just 4 days.

I won’t easily be able to keep things updated when I first arrive, as there’s a good chance I won’t have consistent access to the internet for a while. Plus the ridiculously tiny studio apartment I’ll be moving to is requiring work on it to make it accessible for me due to my mobility issues, and that work won’t be complete when I first arrive (it’s always something, isn’t it?).

I do know that I’m also currently going to be lacking appliances, including even a small refrigerator, so any help with funding for that would be greatly appreciated.

We're leaving Texas and moving in with my mother in Kentucky. As mom is disabled and has been having a hard time maintaining her house, hopefully this will be good for all of us. Unfortunately, Chase docked Chris over half of his last check due to the way they allocate vacation, so one last time, if anyone has anything they can kick in, it would be greatly appreciated. Here's a breakdown of what we need, in case you wonder where tf our money goes:

Penske truck rental for 1200 miles: $475 plus a $200 refundable deposit

Gas for the Penske truck and our Cobalt: $488 total - $328 for the Penske,  $160 for the Cobalt

One overnight stay, food for the trip: $200 optimistically

------ $1363 minimum

Ideally I want to get the dogs and cats UTD on shots and flea treat as mom has a large feral cat colony at her house: $300 minimum

Cobalt could use a front tire and oil change, but may be able to make it: $100

This obviously isn't touching the several thousand dollars it's going to cost us to break our lease (not an exaggeration, I talked to the office today) but that's a debt to worry about later on. This seems like a crazy amount of money to raise and we will obviously be doing what we can on our end to come up with it but any contribution is a major, major help.
