I’ve really been enjoying my time with NieR so far. I have nearly 100%’d the game and I’m about to go for ending E.

originally, I thought Simone’s desire to make herself more beautiful and powerful using the parts of other machine lifeforms was a bit ridiculous, but after farming my way to upgrading everything I think I finally understand haha.

I found many conflicting sources on what the chaos language lyrics for this song actually were so in the end I took what I could and did it by ear. This is my favorite track in the game and I hope I did it justice!

I'm surprised I haven't posted this here yet! But it is time I share!!

About a year ago I had a dream where I turned on Nier so I could study with the ambiance and music however when I turned it on I was greeted with a Taylor Swift song 😭.

I remember going onto reddit in the dream and looking up why and it was because Square enix lost the legal rights to all of the nier music so they just had Emi Evans cover a bunch of Taylor Swift songs. That they then placed throughout the game.

This was the case for almost every scenario except for the combat. Every fight was now accompanied with "Eye of the Tiger" instead of "Dark Colossus" or any of the other battle bangers. LOL

I was so relieved to wake up in a world that still had nier music
