It's honestly sad that the best and most creative members of the ts3 community feel discouraged around Tumblr because their posts get few notes in comparison to posts that follow an "aesthetic" (or, let's be real, posts favoured by the cliques). I mean, if you don't have time to drop weekly cc (no matter how shoddy and lazy it is), if you don't make bright and reshade-y graphics featuring trendy stuff (y2k fashion? nty, I actually had to wear that), if you don't tag and constantly flatter some specific blog with a large audience so they give you a boost, then it looks like your work has less value than those who do. we all know that notes aren't everything, but we all like validation sometimes. also, this is not about my blog and notes, but I am indeed tired and annoyed of seeing the 1000th iteration of the same types of content being reblogged and praised like it's the hottest thing since sliced bread when actual creative stuff is out there (storytellers! experimental simming! people who still create cc from scratch! different gaming aesthetics!).

Aggressively battling illness and imposter syndrome. It amazes me when stupid people say : “fiction doesn’t effect reality,” as an excuse to defend their pedophilic ships. Have you ever grieved over a character death❓Have you felt DEEP emotions for a character you love ❓If fiction didn’t effect reality, you wouldn’t be feeling any sort of emotions for these fictional characters and the things they went through.

Keep these thoughts in mind when you say

“It doesn’t effect reality,” because it does. If you’re not effected by kids being catapulted in sexual relationships with adults you’re literally quite part of the problem.

Let’s be real. All of us had watched InuYasha as kids not even knowing what it was about but it is still a beloved series dear to our hearts. Can you REALLY be okay with Rin being a child bride❓Would you have been okay if you had a kid around Rin’s age fawning over an adult twice their age ❓No, because the relationship is not appropriate. Rin’s relationship with Sesshomaru shouldn’t have been any more than a father / daughter relationship and Rumiko never intended them to be together. If she did, she would have never pushed Kagura towards Sesshomaru in the first place.

Rin doesn’t even look like an adult nor does she portray herself like one. She was made to sound like a child making all the matters worse if they do push this ship.

Stop attacking artists who don’t want to draw Pedomaru with Rin. Stop stealing fan art and reposting it to make your ugly ship happen.
