Friend Jon! Maybe a bit of a strange question, but do you know if Pathologic has any canonical constellations?

I wasn't sure, but I'd imagine them to maybe resemble organs. The sky could be a creature; just like the Earth is; just like Town is. Alive!

StarMap_Haruspex_Sky.png. That's as close as I can give you to a canonical shape, as release p1's skybox doesn't include stars, and this isn't described in much detail in anyone's dialogue.

Astrology exists in Pathologic (per the Bachelor's first conversation with Saburov), and there seems to be a fair understanding of astronomy, as evidenced by discussion of Maria's otherwise sadly undescribed "new constellations":

[These stars] have existed for a long time already. People just couldn't see them before because their light was hurrying towards us from far beyond. Now the first rays of these stars are about to reach our surfaces.

and Capella's nickname barely implies that the Earth constellation Auriga is there, but I think it's funnier if there's no in-universe reason for it. Victoria's psychic vision of our awesome stars

Aaahhhh thank you so much! <3 Honestly I'm still figuring some stuff out but! Noa's a hunter who went to the conclave as a substitute for another Lavellan. They considered running from the Inquisition a few times 'cause homesickness but ultimately decided to make a proper effort to lead once they got to know people around Haven (which... took a little bit.) Until then they would argue with Cassandra and only cooperate as much as they had to. Will run off into the forest to cope, their home away from home.

I have not before, but I will definitely tag my Burakhovsky reblogs from now on, as I have always seen its problems, I just never really saw the use in tagging it before as it was almost a given that everyone just... shipped it. Which seems like an odd thought in retrospective ?? but its also kind of how this fandom makes you feel, you know ??

yeah absolutely, and that’s a big part of the reason why i made today’s post; it’s not just that it’s a problematic ship, because literally every fanbase has problematic ships and there are worse pathologic ships even than daniil/artemy. but the particular way that the patho fanbase has become so insular that it shuts out people who are uncomfortable with that content and anything that criticizes the ship is really irritating and a huge problem at the heart of the fanbase. it’s like.... very weirdly similar to like the sherlock fandom in how monolithic it’s become (except that it’s not just shipping white boys and again there’s a genuinely harmful racial element)? which is wild. this is indie video games

Would it cross a line to ask what 'kafir' means in Arabic? I know I could Google it, and will if that's preferable, but I also know that Google isn't always the most trustworthy source.

In the Islamic sense, kafir means disbeliever/infidel, someone who isn’t Muslim/rejects Allah(SWT) or principles of Islam. What makes someone a kafir is a bit complicated but that’s the basis.

The word is used with a Tal-Vashoth, someone who has rejected the Qun. There’s no way this was not known during the writing and is yet another way in The Mark of The Assassin that the Qunari are painted as Muslims in incresingly less vague ways. I’m surprised they didn’t have Qunari greet each other by saying Assalamualaikum (/sarcasm).

Qunari are villains and evil and in MotA literally use the Islamic term for unbeliever/infidel to refer to those that leave their religion.

Snufkin is @morrowmore and @emile8's fav character from Moomins, so I sketched this guy during break at work for them and later cleaned it up. I had no reference so he might be a bit off model >_>; I added Alfur, Hilda and Twig! I think Hilda would fit in so well with Moomins.
