Ben had gone for a few days with contact restored to him. It was glorious, and perfect, and then it… was back. No explanation, or practically no explanation. He might not have known exactly what had happened, but he knew when, and that warranted a trip to the hospital. He wasn’t stupid, but he also wasn’t incarcerated at this point, so it was worth a try. Anything was worth a try. Which was how he ended up standing across from the girl he assaulted not long before.

Even when there seemed to be nothing and a half going on around town, it seemed like there was a half decent party going down at the club. There were lights and a big, full bar, so Jack was happy to be imbibing, taking whatever the barkeep felt like slinging. He wasn't totally drunk yet, and wasn't totally sold on taking anybody home, so they kept coming and he kept smiling, going until he turned from the wild spitfire to his left to see a much softer looking lady to his right nursing a drink. "Hey, how's it going?" He asked as his previous partner stood and found their way to the dance floor. "You know their Hurricanes are to die for."
