Daphne had a wonderful childhood. Her parents were so proud when they learned that their daughter was special. She was an only child, and spoiled out of her little mind. There was never anything she would have changed about her life, and if you’d have asked her what her biggest fear was, she would have told you that she was afraid of rats. That was it.

Hogwarts was a bundle of fun for Daphne, especially after she realized she’d been sorted into a house where blood supremacy reined. Of course she hid her parentage from everyone, lying about being a half-blood, which didn’t make her the most popular, but she didn’t care. She was special, after all. The sorting hat had put her there for a reason and she planned to make the best of it.

And make the best of it she did- at least until her third year when the Dark Lord took over. She tried to be a loyal supporter, but it wasn’t long before her blood line was discovered, and she was moved with the rest of the muggleborns into slavery. She was passed from ‘owner’ to ‘owner’ but she was smart enough to keep herself out of trouble. She did as she was told, and because of that, she’s been ‘gifted’ with a bit more freedom than the others. She’s been a slave at Hogwarts for over a year, and she listens for anything that will bring her favor with the Dark Lord. She isn’t above faking friendships .

Personality

Sneaky and ambitious, Daphne knows that her innocent looking appearance makes her seem like less . of a threat. She’s the sweetest person you’ll ever know- until you turn your back on her. However, Daphne isn’t completely heartless. She’s built up a wall, desperate to keep herself from hard, but there is something soft lurking inside those ice cold eyes.

Connections

Hermione Granger-Daphne remembered the know-it-all from school, and the moment Hermione was moved into the Goyle household with her, she knew that she had to be her friend. After all, if she could help bring down Potter’s best friend, surely it would help her get out of her hellish position. .

Gregory Goyle- Greg and Daphne were actually friends back in school. Daphne helped Greg with his reading- never telling anyone that he was Dyslexic. When she became his slave, the two talked more than she worked.
