Challenge 130 : Zodiacs: Libra Monkey

I was born early October in ‘92, meaning the astronomical zodiac sign for Libra and the Chinese Zodiac year of the monkey. Two signs that seem to in part contradicting the other signs sides. The Libra sign symbolized scales, a balance, a sense of calm equilibrium. The complete opposite of what you think about when you think monkey. Monkeys contemplate the ideas of chaos and acts of rambunctiousness, a wildness that is for the most part untamed. Two sign, polar opposite from either other, however living in a unique unison to either in the form of crazy old me. A determined monkey in light of a delicious bounty of bananas, trying to balance and control the chaos and still enjoy the delightfulness of a sweet treat.

Challenge 129 : Community: Home But Not Alone

With all that is going on in our world; our homes have become our friends, our comfort place, a safe community amongst us. Our home are humanized and give us hope in uncertain times. Overseen just as a place to rest our head but now valued more instead, cared and treated and very much respected. Our homes are that of small and big community of neighborhoods at a distance. A warm wave seen as a solidarity and understanding, a sign of humanity that we had lost re-emerged and rejoiced again. They’re is truly no place like home, but know that although me might feel very much alone, we are all together as a community in this. So stay safe and stay at home.
