I want you all to know that Emily in Green light was a full fucking Commie. Like she is explicitly the leader of the workers of several factories that are trying to unionize and eventually revolt, (how she dies) She, does not have time for your SHIT. She actually highkey hates Light when she first meets him, because they meet when hes at his undergrad internship at an electronics manufacturing plant and she thinks hes the scum of the earth. The robot master crap decades after her death, ends up being Light actually getting her ideology compleatly backwards, mostly because he loved her and he is still consumed by grief and prioritizes his own sentimentality over the unplesant practical reality, as Light usually does. She eventually loved him too, but thats because for a while he genuenly managed to convince her that he was going to change things, and she fell in love with his conviction, she would very much NOT fuck with where that conviction actually went.
