Emily Stanton

Birthdate: March 9th, 1775

Death date: September, 1830

Biography: Born to a wealthy family that lived near the mountains of the Alps, Emily Stanton lived her life on a large property with animals and servants, but unlike some of her status, remained a kind and compassionate young woman.

Living in the town of Aljiba with her father as one of her wealthiest citizens, the young lady was well-liked by the townspeople and especially a young man by the name of Thomas Morris. His friend, Albert Lecarde, also held feelings for her, but she misread it as mere friendship, much to his chagrin.

When a Satanic cult of disgraced soldiers and the Dark Priest Shaft conducted a blood sacrifice to raise Dracula, the town of Aljiba was attacked, and several people were either killed or turned into monsters themselves. Among these people were five maidens taken by the creatures of darkness, meant for the draining of their life and foul purposes later.

Emily Stanton was one of these five, along with Annette Renard, Tera Sendai, Iris Strassman, and little Maria Renard, who would later assist Richter Belmont against Dracula.

Emily herself was held up in the Chapel past the Castle gates, guarded by a massive behemoth skeleton that, to her shock, she witnessed Thomas, as well Albert, fighting against the skeleton and nearly perishing at its hands, had Richter himself not come in at the last moment to destroy the resurrected bones.

With the promise to rescue the other women, Richter and Maria headed off, Thomas and Albert taking Emily back to town to both show her parents she was all right and to mend their own wounds.

While Emily had always liked Thomas, it was here that she realized she had actually loved him, even with the uncertainty of her parents regarding the relationship. Ultimately though, the two got married and settled in a remote village on the outskirts of Wallachia, Raluca.

There, she would have three children, yet she had little time to know them, for she succumbed to cholera when her youngest child was only a handful of years old.

Despite the small amount of time she had in this world, Emily is a lingering thought in the minds of those who knew her.
