Im rlly sorry i didnt know Manitoba was a province, I thought it was a city lol. I sorta didn't know there were 3 provinces between Ontario and BC, thought there were like 2. But my home state is Delaware and no one in the US knows where it is either :0

Apparently my city(Winnipeg) is the most racist in all of Canada. It's also the coldest city in all of Canada. BUT WE'RE ALSO THE SLURPEE CAPITOL OF THE WORLD, FIFTEEN YEARS AND COUNTING. AW, YEAH!

A and P are under the queer umbrella and adding an alphabet soup of letters that fail to grasp every gender identity is absurd. It devalues everything we are fighting for

Adding letters to include people does not devalue anything. If anything, it shows a dedication to making sure everyone has equal inclusion, particularly those frequently left out. As someone whose orientation is perpetually left out, overwritten, and erased, it's very important to me to see myself represented concretely. And I repeat: queer has been and continues to be used as a slur and is not considered an acceptable term by everyone under the umbrella. Given its history, not everyone wants to reclaim it or be labelled as such.

There are issues with using the full acronym, such as accessibility, but similarly there are issues with reclaiming slurs, or with umbrella terms that provide room for kinksters to find refuge. "Alphabet soup" is none of these reasons. Furthermore, there's absolutely no need to lash out or ridicule someone else's preferred label usage when they are neither forcing it upon you nor even opening a discussion on the matter, and there especially isn't a need to say that certain letters don't deserve to be in the acronym. Someone could just as soon say the G or the T don't belong, and how exactly do we appoint a judge to decide which gender or orientation has precedence over another?

5 things I like about myself

ok, so, I'm going to say 5 things I like about myself (as tagged by the lovely teddybearofdeath) and then tag 10 of my followers to do the same :)

1. I have nice eyes. They're a kind of rich brown and I'm the only person in my family to have them, and people have told me they mean I'm related to the French (kinda ironic as I really suck at French)

2. I am a good cook, particularly in baking. Grandma always said "ooohh, whichever man marries you will be a lucky man" and I would nod stoically whilst thinking "yes grandma, but I happen to be super gay"

3. I have an extremely active imagination. Theres an entire world in my head in very high graphic detail. I have dragons in there, its kinda awesome.

4. I'm an unshakable feminist. I believe in the struggle for equality for all women, trans, poc, mermaid, you name it 

5. I might not be the best person that I can be, but I'm trying, and that is something. I am there for my friends, always, and I love everyone with a capital L, a rainbow O, a heart-covered V and a sparkly E
