@emily-lotus liked for a Repede starter!
"I say, Boccos, what do we do about Yuri Lowell's dog?"
"I suppose we can't jail a dog. He'll just have to wait the three days to see his miscreant owner again."
Those had been the words Repede was left with as Yuri was taken away. Certainly not the first time it had happened, and Repede suspected it wouldn't be the last either. That just was how Yuri was. He saw injustice in the Lower Quarter, and he tried to do what he could to go against the knights. This time hadn't been any different. Yuri had gotten into a fight with Adecor and Boccos because they'd been trying to hurry people along with paying their taxes. All well and good, but now Repede was left to fend for himself.
He managed. He always did, Repede thought as he padded along the streets. If nothing else, he could go begging to Hank and get food that way. He just had to get back home first. An easy enough task, as the Lower Quarter wasn't all that big at the end of the day. So he kept walking.
Something caught his eye as he walked, though. There was a woman there in the Lower Quarter that he wasn't familiar with. There was a good reason for that, though, Repede supposed. She looked like she belonged in the Royal Quarter. The people didn't seem to have any qualms with her presence, though. In fact, Repede noted, she seemed to be helping the people.
Huh... so there were kind nobles there in Zaphias, after all. Just the same as there were good knights like Flynn, Repede supposed. His nose twitched a bit as he padded closer. Head tilted to one side, the one-eyed dog stared up at her. His tail gave in to a slow, measured wag.
"Ruff!"
