If you’re trying to ask me whether or not insects urinate, they don’t actually... The closest thing I can think of to something like that is the honeydew that some insects make but I guess that doesn’t really count.

Goodness, apologies for not posing in such a long time, I guess I got a bit busy with my studies. I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday this year!

Emi had had a rather exhausting day. Since Summer had started she’d been helping with camp counseling for the Akatsuka forest rangers, teaching the kids about the forest and helping them earn their merits. While she did love teaching the kids, it definitely left her incredibly tired in the evenings. She hadn’t even had time to change out of her Assistant Ranger uniform and looked like she had seen better days given her even more tired expression than usual.

She was carrying her trusty travel bag that she almost always had with her containing all her interesting finds and field journals, as well as her wallet of course. She decided on the way home she should try stopping in a convenience store to see if they had any energy drinks or health bars to help her on the way back home.

She walked in and made her way towards a display of health bars, looking over them carefully to see if there were any that piqued her interest.

😍 - Your crush just passed right by you! How awkward are you about trying to make conversation?

Well... I can’t really remember the last time I had a crush on anyone but I think if I ran into someone I had feelings for I’d just try to be myself. People tell me I’m really good at keeping calm and that I have a good “poker face”, sometimes to the point of being impossible to read... Haha, now that I think about it, I don’t think someone would know if I liked them unless I told them directly!

I’ve gotten so used to just staying calm no matter what situation that I figure I’d be able to have a nice conversation with them without any issues, I don’t exactly fluster easily, aha...

💢 - What frustrates you more than anything?

Ohh… People tell me I don’t get frustrated easily but… I have to admit, when people don’t acknowledge the importance of bugs on our planet or when people treat mother nature poorly, I feel… Yes, I guess frustrated would be the right word. I understand many people are frightened of bugs and nature but I still think you can appreciate what they do for the planet from a distance if that’s the case.

🍜 - Carnivore/Pescatarian/Vegetarian/Vegan/Other? What kind of diet do you have?

Well, I suppose ominvore would be the best descriptor, though I mainly eat grains and vegetables. I’m not adverse to eating meat though, but I’m not a fan of pork or seafood. Just regular red meat usually does the trick for me… Oh! And chicken! Chicken’s good!

I also eat bugs sometimes! Not off the ground of course but bugs that have been lovingly prepared for consumption. It’s actually quite popular over here! In Japan I mean…

😈 - What’s your favorite cuss word?

Favorite cuss word? Oh well… I don’t really like using rude language, it just doesn’t seem… Right? When I say those sorts of things, anyways. Usually cussing involves adding certain words to other words to make them sound more angry, I just don’t have that sort of energy I guess. I may have used ‘stupid!’ once or twice when I stubbed my toe or something but I think that’s about as rude as my language gets…

📺 - What’s your favorite TV show? What’s your favorite genre?

I like nature documentaries, especially bug-centric ones. I watch a lot of subtitled BBC nature documentaries. I just really like informative animal-centric shows! Or shows that teach you something about the world around us… I guess educational television? I don’t really watch TV too much though to be honest…

🍀 - Do you carry a good luck charm? Do you believe in luck?

I know it probably doesn’t have any scientific merit but I’ll sometimes carry around little things that remind me of people I love to… Invite? Good fortune. I don’t really think about it like good luck or bad luck, just… If you keep love in your heart and on your mind, good things will happen to you! I think of it like that!

Well… I really like sweets that have sort of a natural vibe to them. I like herbal things like green tea flavored treats but I also like chocolate! It’s hard to say what my favorite is though… Something that you can easily carry around and eat on the go I suppose! Or maybe a granola bar… Trail mix? I’m having a tough time deciding!

You know who loves sweets even more than me though? Bugs!
