I did some work on this the other night. Not having a steady income and having to move in less than a month with nowhere to go does not cultivate creativity. A cheap bottle of scotch + a dece podcast help.

Week #1 - P O S T C A R D S
P O S T C A R D (5) - I feel so ambivalent about this one. I think it might be the thick black lines? But I’m not sure. Thoughts?
P O S T C A R D (4) - oh my gosh. I think this is my favourite postcard so far. I love this style so much. It’s definitely what I’m most comfortable with.
The plan for this zine is to pair it with some voice recordings of conversations concerning the value we place on material objects. This was just a test recording I did with the boy. You can hear me stumble over my words a whole lot and say “yeah” more times than is necessary. Also an overly awkward ending. I loved the stuff Matt said though. Ignore me and listen to him talk about his childhood, a mannequin he found on the side of the road and a bear from his childhood that he still uses for comfort. It’s good.
