As well as Robert potentially being in danger from a jealous gangster husband, there’s also the possibility that Kev has enemies on the outside who could target Robert as a way of getting at Kev. Forgot to upload this one. Old art from late 2021. I was going to do a series of plaques and crops. Maybe still if I find the time. The art is inspired by gold Scythian plaques. Which I think were a kind of gold plating or leafing that went over wood. I don't know what they were used for, but they're fun to look at. The Cat's Way is inspired by the link between cat domestication and their role protecting human food stores from mice. So cats in this story treat crops sort of like astrological signs. Emmer is an old crop and would be seen as one of the oldest lineages.

I haven't decided if emmer cats are still being born in this story. Probably. Emmer is considered a relic crop today but it's still grown and eaten, and bread wheat is another domesticated form of emmer. So in some shape its still very much around. Anyway plant domestication is all I've been reading about. I had so many words but I'm not gonna try to speak on the subject, lol I am curious to find out what plants were domesticated in Africa though, particularly south of the Sahara because when I read about it there's this blank space and it feels like there has to be more. I've read about Sorghum and other crops but.. yeah. Same for all areas where any wild plant was cultivated by humans long enough to pick up domestic traits before fading out while cats were present. There has to be so many and they're all relevant to this pretend cat walmart I'm picking at. Alright I'm done, I guess I was in a rambling mood.
