The train ride was bound to be long and Shauntal was more than happy to have a friendly conversation with Emmet. I didn't battle much when I was tending to my studies but it was amazing to see her evolve into Chandelure after our first month being in the Unova League! I was so excited and happy for her that we celebrated that evening. I didn't care that we may have lost the match. I was proud of my partner for having the strength and courage to believe in herself enough to show her true potential!"

Her Revaroom hits the ground first - knocked aside by Emmets Gurdurr. It spins in place for a moment, before flopping down fainted. Eri hisses as she recalls it back to the ball, nodding to it as she does. "You did good, Levi."

That left only her Annihilape Rex left on her side of the field. And he wasn't going to hang in much longer. It was two on one, and would take a miracle.

"Come on, Rage Fist! You can do it, Rex!" she calls out, howling above the crowd.

Her Annihilape jumped back, readying, before leaping at the Gurdurr in front of it, ominous energy around it's outstretched fist.

It never lands, as Rex is sent flying after the other opponent, Durant, collides head on with him. He lands face down in the sand at her feet.

And when the dust clears, Eri's last Pokemon doesn't get up. With a sigh of defeat, she recalls him as well. Shows her to try and beat her uncle at his own game.

She was really hoping she'd be able to show him how far she'd come... but seems like not today.
