Hey I'm one of the anons that messaged you about the angry stereotype. Thank you for taking people seriously and thank you for your apology. I'm sorry if I was snappy with you, your post wasn't the only one is seen and other people were being very negative in their responses to Scottish people who were upset about the whole thing so I was definitely starting to lose patience by the time I got to your comic. Thank you for your apology, it shows you're a good person that you're willing to accept something was wrong and take steps to improve it. Honestly, yours wasn't even the worst. And you were just going on twitter, which is the problem since that's all we're portrayed as. Scots is a wonderful language (so is scots gaelic), so I hope you enjoy researching it :)

Hey! If you want to see actual Scots English can I recommend Anne Donnovans ‘Hieroglyphics.’ It’s a book with a range of dialects and short stories. My fav is ‘dear Santa’ or ‘virtual friend.’

ooohh, i’ll definitely check it out!! i’ve actually been wanting to do research on scots english for developing some characters but never knew where to look, so this is a really great start! thanks for the recommendation!! <333
