I´ll be on a mini-hiatus as I´m off the continent for the next three weeks and I haven´t the faintest idea when or if I´ll have internet any time soon.

ladies and gents

So, I´ll be participating in the tolkien-read-along and I am actually on a team even! Team Ainur, to be precise. I´ll tag everything with teamainur, so I won´t spam your dash.

I can´t sleep and have a pretty important day tomorrow that´ll start with me having to get up in two hours.

Another day on coffee and a migraine.

I use sleep as an excuse to get away from people in my life who are either boring, annoying or very rude or alternatively all three of those unfavourable traits combined into one massive repulsive character. Sadly, some days it feels like 90% of my rather obligatory social contacts consist of people made up from aforementioned characteristics.

So yes, I quite like sleep

About the Sherlock series:

All that forshadowing, so far in The Empty Hearse when Sherlock "observes" Mary he sees "secret" and "liar, liar", besides the fact that apparently she´s a Lib Dem, and now there are conveniently placed horns behind her head in The Sign of Three, a while later the same motif, now with an animal skull attached to the horns, recurrs and Sherlock "observes/deduces" Death. He is rather drunk at that time though but nothing is random or without purpose in most plays and films, well, not something so blindingly obvious.

Which leads me to believe that Mary Watson has a secret that we´ll probably find out later and that she´s either a villain or at least a distraction or that she´s keeping a secret that she lies about that will come to haunt and when we finally find out kill her.

Also, did I see rather wing-shaped shadows behind Mycroft?

I have a cold. That means cuddling up with more tea than usual and enjoying the freeing feeling of coughing up ones lungs every half an hour or so, also not being able to properly hear and alternating between tumblr, books and sleep, all while feeling guilty for not being able to study for exams properly. That´s the worst. Not being able to do your part because your immune system decided to slip up and allow the cold to settle down. How am I suppose to function when my own body betrays me in such a way?

What sometimes helps me is putting a small pillow neckroll just below your breast to form some sort of ramp with them and your, presumably, bed and then lie on it.Hope it helps
