Violet is also starting up a bit of a romance.

Rick Contrary and his bestie Violet Jocque are attending La Fiesta Tech together. Finally away from the judgements of his parents, Rick confesses that he has a crush...
...on Emmitt Larson, who also lives in their dorm. Rick admits he and Emmitt flirted a bit in high school, but it never went anywhere. Now it seems like fate that they were put into the same dorm. Though they still don't know each other very well.
Bestie Violet is on the case! After all, if anyone can figure out if someone is right for Rick, it's her!
Here are her discoveries...
Emmitt is not the nicest sim.
But Violet and Rick aren't super nice, either. And Violet finds his pranks pretty funny!
Emmitt is very ambitious and dedicated to his studies.
He likes to hustle his younger friends when they come to visit the dorm. (Also pretty funny, according to Violet!)
He's athletic and keeps in shape, hoping to get into a sports career.
He's a Drama major, and is well-known for his roles in campus plays.
And in spite of his low nice points, he's actually quite friendly with everyone in the dorm.
Which Rick is starting to find out firsthand!

These two just moved into the Oresha-Hoh-Var Fraternity together.
And are celebrating with a kiss that shocks the cheerleader, apparently!
After a moment, they decide to take this upstairs.

Emmitt throws an engagement party so Rick can meet his family. At first, meeting Emmitt's mom seems to go well.
But they seem to have issues on the subject of money.
And poor Emmitt is a bit worried. 😟
