Season 2 Flashback “The Man Who Saved Central City” (2x01)

My quick thoughts:

*The Barry and Joe scenes are AMAZING.  And did Barry just shed a singular, manly tear????  *sobs*

*Love Iris totally ignoring Emo Barry and regulating the place.

*I feel badly that Iris and Caitlin both lost their beaus on the same day.  That totally sucks.  These two really should be bonding more on the show.

*Are so-called SnowBarry shippers hinging their entire belief system on this one scene between Barry and Caitlin??? Because . . .  I honestly don’t get it.  I like them totally fine, but I objectively don’t see any sparks or romantic tension.  Plus, why don’t more people ship Cisco and Cait?  He’s the one person who has been by her side through everything.  

*Once again, Barry and Henry deliver the emotional goods at the end.  I find it interesting that he continues to push his son toward the West family.  Basically, Henry’s all, in order to be the Flash, you need to be there for Iris and Joe.  Which is just an indirect way of saying that the Flash is just not ONE PERSON.  I feel like the writers keep establishing and re-establishing that point.  Suck it, haters.
