I can't believe you hate on Robert Pattinson, who has a steady arthouse film career, for being part of Hollywood's decline when your fave Cumberbatch is blockbuster slop
Don't forget you Seroquel prescription on your quarterly trip outdoors
You know, Arthouse used to actually mean something, and hold interest. Post-Covid, it seems to mean, "Crappy, Corporate-funded psychobabble no one wants to see, starring celebrities with the acting range of High Schoolers. Thus, is Robert Pattinson, Mr. Emo Batman. Considering how deep our archives go, it is very stupid for any of you to bother trying to harass anyone, around here. Skeptics don't play, unlike Pattinson, knee deep in Hunter mutuals and other Epstein ties. Now fuck off.
the trinity: punk rock superman, emo batman and metal wonder woman
Battinson again
MCR's Ghost of You better be playing on loop in the Wayne Manor in Batman 2
"I can't always just forget her but she can try"
"You're never coming home, never coming home"
"And all the things that you never ever told me"
Hear me out
Robert Patterson Batman
In the beginning of the Batman movie Bruce is reading his mission reports. And as stated in the movie it’s been 2 years since he started his night life. So he’s still young I’d say maybe 25. very edgy still very emo man if I do say so.
Could you imagine some time in the future the batboys stumble upon there mission reports and never let him live it down.
Dick: (puts on eye liner) they think I’m in the shadows…but I am the shadows.
Tim: (puts bangs in face) 2 years of nights has turned me into a nocturnal animal.
Jason: (using a blanket as a cape) I must chose my targets carefully.
Barb: (gravely voice half way laughing) IM VENGEANCE!
Batman DID headcannon
This might be a crazy idea but, ya know how in The Batman Bruce/Batman wears those contacts so he can record everything that happens during his nightly escapades beating the crap out of criminals, and he says that he has to force himself to remember what happened?
ok So this is a form dissociation right?; Bruce Wayne is disassociating when he becomes batman. So, what if Bruce Wayne has dissociative identity disorder and Batman is an alter; eventually, the Batman alter takes over as the primary personality and the Bruce Wayne we see in The Batman get burried under it.
This is why Batman says his name is Batman when touching the lasso of truth.
I think its an interesting idea, and it would be like the only example (that I know of) of DID or any similar illness depicted in media where a persons alters aren’t raving lunatics that try to murder people.
Emo Bruce Wayne supremacy
Emo Bruce Wayne is the most realistic and accurate portrayal of his true self. The man dresses as a bat to go beat up violent criminals as a means of dealing with the trauma of having witnessed his parents murder. That the most emo thing I've heard.
