So, I'm going to throw out a song with a dedication here - I'm still really bummed they never let me be a DJ at WXYC, so I never got to throw out dedications to lots of songs (although I did get to hang out in the studios with a friend once ... but I digress).  Anyway, I recently vowed to listen to more M Ward, but - in the exact opposite spirit of Corey and Kyle's proposed 'female vocalist week' - I really do not like the mix with Zooey Deschanel in She & Him.  Instead, I started by going back to this track, which brings me to the dedication. I was introduced to this track by my friend Taryn, who has been such a thoughtful and helpful person to talk to over the last few months, as have so many of my friends.  So, this week's post goes out to her and everyone who has been there for me in the past few months. <emo off> (... but who am I kidding, the emo is never off...)

I really enjoy this one, but if you're looking for my favorite off the new album (released on Corey and my birthday this year!)  I think I'd go with Crawl After You, but I'd also just say go listen to the whole thing on M Ward's site!
