I don't think i remember linking this fic
One of my recent fics i made last month.
I've recently been thinking of editing it up. Wondering if I'm going too fast or should have done things differently.

Kestra Questions
Okay, but real talk, what are Kestra’s betazed capabilities? Does she have any? She still is 1/4 Betazoid. As only a half Betazoid, Deanna still had quite a few abilities. She was still empathic and could do some minor telepathy with trained others.
So, you’d think Kestra could at least sense others’ feelings somewhat, right? Maybe that’s why her brother’s death has been harder on her, because she can feel her parents’ feelings and also felt his own presence slowly fade from the world?
We don’t know but I want to know.
I get the episode didn’t have the time to cover all that, but I’m sososo curious about it.
what's the best way to warm yourself up for a big post? making another type of post you want to do. in this case im doing a 3 for 1 special. you get 3 kinds of powers for the price of one post... and that all 3 of them are from live action shows/sitcoms. we're going to be talking about 3 kinds of powers wielded by a kid in superhero juvie,a retired superhero, and a race of fairies.
before i begin i will say i 100% hate that 2 out of 3 of these have no wikis to help me. i have to do some trickery to get what i want but i guess that's what happens when said characters with these powers just don't pop up more than once.
whatever the case is. today i have 3 characters from a total of 2 shows. the nick sitcom show called the thundermans and the netflix live action show fate the winx saga(and boy is that a bite to the neck cause not allot of people like live action shows)
well start with the youngest person from this list. maisie from the thundermans
one of 3 kids in a superhero juvie situation, villains in the making? i can't remember the context for this episode. but i do remember her power. what little wiki i can scrape up for her called telekinetic tickling but i remember the show one of the characters called it hyperkinetic tickle powers.
the power is pretty self explanatory. maisie can telekinetically tickle individuals in the show we got sparkly indicators, and she moved her fingers) and its very debilitating when used on people(she was also shown to be rather unnerving to my memory)
i do think an empath could possibly have something similar to this due to the fact that sometimes ill see an empath with the power to either inflict or take away the pain of another. if they can affect feelings of pain then maybe they can do something more mischievous and equally as disruptive as inflicting pain. maybe even more so but we will cover laugh-based abilities in another one of these.
from the youngest character of this trio i now move onto the oldest with nana thunderman from... well its still the thundermans
i remember being so mad the only wiki article i could find on her was in German. but it is what it is.
now she's also a one-off character but her power is a bit more related to emotions then the last one. if nana thunderman pinches your cheek (you know like the stereotype grandma response) you will be filled with nothing but kindness and sweetness. and when she did it with a very rude restaurant owner, she did a complete 180 and was literally giving things away. and to shut it off she has to pinch your check again.
i don't think i need to explain too much on why an empath could do this. its literally enforcing and changing someone's emotions. a power you could call force emotion(it almost boarders on mind control because mrs wong would never give away free food but she was literally giving food and her money away with reckless abandon. full of nothing but kindness, sweetness and generosity) so glad this old woman was a hero and not a villain also goes to show just how dangerous positive emotion can be and not just messing with people negatively
our last selection is not a character but a group. the mind fairies of fate the winx saga
now most people really don't like fate, i didn't hate it. but were here for the powers mind fairies are basically your standard issue psychic of the power system. minus the telekinesis that is(they get pathokinesis), mind fairies have power of the thoughts, memory, emotions, and dreams. and seeing as one of the shows main characters is a mind fairy we got to see some of these powers. particularly empath related powers(thats right actually calling them empaths)
this kind of power lets a mind fairy control the emotions of others, such as calming them down (they can even cause or alleviate pain in others) and we get to see a consequence of constantly smothering a negative emotion with positive ones (bottling the emotion up and making it more volatile)
mind fairies also can use those memory based powers for revealing, probing, awakening, and erasing memories so thats great)
i really don't think i need to cover why i think empaths could do this. am i slightly biased as seeing empathic/empathy powers as more of a psionic and spirit powered ordeal... yes. will i stop that bias? yeah when i stop finding it being shown as being the main stay.
for now, that's all. next time i think ill cover some actual heroes that are in action during their stories.
i do hope you enjoyed this part 2. it was kinda fun. and now i wanna see an empath with telekinetic tickle powers

Could you draw what you think Mirabel's gift would be if she'd gotten one?
This was such a fun prompt, thank you! 🥺💚
Mirabel's Gift would be the ability to create bridges! They're made of golden-hued light, the color of the miracle itself, and can be used to traverse spaces—in other words, they are literal bridges, more concrete (despite being made of light) manifestations of her empathy and role as a facilitator. I did consider different empathic abilities but ultimately decided on this one :D
Her power only works with people (a bit to her and Antonio's chagrin). She can build walkways between herself and someone else, or between others. Like with Julieta's Gift, there's probably an emotional component to Mirabel's: It works best when she feels a need for harmony (e.g., likes the person/people involved, wants them to get along).
