My long-suffering spouse bought this for me before the beautiful pop-smile Emperor was announced and I figured I can’t have TWO emperors, so I had better paint this one well!

I decided that the coloring on his armor needed more variation—he is devastatingly beautiful after all. I also tried to make his eyes more human or soulful, as if there’s a real person living under the monster.

I think my mini painting has really improved since I first picked up a space wolf as a joke twenty years ago. I still get pretty frustrated with blending—my smaller figures never look as nice as ones I see pictures of. I’m getting there, though.

Emperor week, Protection

Short comic I made for Emp week. Includes Emperor Baldur's gate 3 and Bern (high elf sorcerer, tav/oc), this all takes place in a dream/nightmare so dream logic applies. Hope it's any good (yipe social anxiety, also been pretty burnt out bc my summer was pretty stressfull+big life changes). Really cool event btw love it. ( @theemperorweek )
