Charlotte: are you awake
Charlotte: and if so do you know any food places that are open late
“I thought I did so well on that test, and we got them back today, and I got a D!” Will stormed in, his heart racing from the anger and disappointment he had in himself. The usually gentle-giant was left seething, trying his best to control himself, but feeling rather hopeless in that endeavor.
One of Charlotte’s favorite things about having roamed the campus in her free time was that she knew most of the places that were empty between classes where she could get away and have some time to herself. She looked up as the door of the room she was in cracked open. Maybe she wasn’t supposed to be in there at that moment. “I was just leaving,” she told them, wrapping her headphones around her phone and tucking her book under her arm.
Penelope was on her way to the grocery store when something in the corner of her eye. When she turned to see what it was she let out a gasp of concern. A squirrel fell out of a tree somehow. Without making a sound Penelope slowly walked to the wounded animal. It was obviously still alive, but it was also in a lot of pain. She took of her jacket and gently wrapped the squirrel in it. Luckily for her the squirrel didn’t seem to mind. She knew she had to get help from a professional quickly. But since she forgot her phone in her dorm that wasn’t so easy.
So to save this poor squirrel she went up to the closest person and asked them for help, ‘‘would you mind if I borrowed your phone? It’s an emergency.’‘ She leaned the squirrel into the others direction to emphasize the urgency of the situation.
Turns out that whole tons of muggings in New York cliche’ is true. Who would have thought.
“You all better be ready to go down, because I never lose a competition. And I have killer aim, just ask anyone I’ve played laser tag with. Better give up now because that prize is mine. I’m already dreaming of all the Ben & Jerry’s I can buy with that money.”
She scratched her head, raking her fingers through the mess that was her hair. It was obvious Blake hadn’t been awake for long, or she had been awake for a while and only now had she gotten out of bed. The microwave in the communal kitchen pinged, steam rising from the door as she took her food out. Mac ‘n’ Cheese for breakfast probably wasn’t the best choice, but it was the first thing she grabbed.
Swinging her body around in a 180 after grabbing a fork, she noticed the other in the room and decided to break the ice. “Okay, so Jurassic Park. Yay or nay?” She asked abruptly, stabbing her fork into the cheese-laden pasta.
