I tried y’all.

But going on twitter and even hearing him speak, I couldn’t do it. First of all not only am I a black woman, I am a Haitian woman. Do you know how ridiculed I got when his president insulted my people?!?? People barking at me at the gas station bc their president said my people were eating your regular neighborhood cats and dogs?? And Joe ass turned around and said, “One of them gave information, the other answered questions.” WHAT QUESTIONS!?!?!?? And after all that, the choice was EASY!?!?

You know how hard it is to live in my skin, comfortablely!? How hard we protested for our rights just for it to be snatched from us in a certain way? AND HOW MAJORITY OF THIS MANS POLICIES HAVE A HUGE AFFECT ON PEOPLE WHO LOOK LIKE ME? WHO LIVES THE LIFE US REGULAR JOES HAVE TO LIVE?!?!

Imagine having to go through all that and then going home saying, “Let me turn this on because it brings me comfort.” Just to find out, (which essentially, maybe thats my fault for thinking he had a difference of opinion seeing how he grew up JUST LIKE ME DAMN NEAR) just to find out that if I were to have met this man and sat at a table for conversations, this is the shit he would say? Thats the bullshit you agree with? “I don’t agree with everything but…” stfu.

Oh ,hey! I know I post on my main a bit, but really it’s just a simple passing and then I’m off.

So like short answer to your question: No, not really

Long answer: The past couple weeks have been exhausting for me actually. Like mentally, health wise. More things are popping up and I was recommended to see a different neurologist, since my other one wanted me to see someone else even though my problem was nerve related?? So my main doctor was like ‘nope, someone else’.  

I’m just… trying to stay afloat right now. I won’t go into my health issue details since that just would take forever and I don’t want to wastes ya’lls time if I start ranting. But besides that, I try to tell someone who has supported me and said it was okay to tell them stuff just stomped me down. Claiming I needed to suck it up or we would be in debt, just saying that and all with a ‘lighten up the conversation’. 

So, it’s a little hard right now, I am terrible at expressing my problems because of my childhood, but like… I was getting used to having a full support, but no I feel knocked down. Especially since I wanted to talk about how scared I am about what’s happening with my body and no solution seeming to be in sight. Plus that same night I basically had an internal mental breakdown and then slept for over 14 hours.

I’m still not… myself or something, I guess? Just struggling mentally and that also means my medication isn’t working to calm me down some notches at least. My head feels worse on some days than usual, the other rising problems are there, and just… I’m tired, but also can’t sleep on most nights. I was lucky for that 14 hour snooze fest and probably would have slept longer, but I woke up with my daughter since I knew my hubs wouldn’t…

So, please forgive me… I just, all of this isn’t an excuse or reason… I’m just a shitty person struggling, okay? I don’t know when I will be fully back honestly. I’ll still try to periodically come back to post, but that’s all I can promise is that I will try.

I’m sorry, lovelies. If you stick around, I hope you enjoy anything I am able to throw at you <3

Don’t tell a fanfiction writer to go master their main language before basically typing anything ever again.

It is rude as fuck. 

Am I being salty?

Hell fucking yes I am.

I have improved by so fucking much over the years by just writing and writing and writing. I have deleted scenes multiple times, moved scenes around, reconstructed a whole fucking scene or whole piece. My first writings feel like a fucking horror movie where they would read them to torture people, I couldn’t even bare trying to redo them they are bad.

But to come on one of my most recent works and tell me I need serious grammar lessons---

Yeah, shove it.

When you try to critic someone, especially someone who types in their own damn free time and for free (though donations are always nice) you don’t get to be an asshole. You also don’t get to be an asshole to famous writers for mistakes. When you are a writer, you begin to understand the coaxing of criticism is the most important approach, giving hints and asking if they would like to hear some tips. Some new writers may not, but as they go along they may seek it out and you should give it in a friendly manner because it’s great to see people flourish (I have had many people comment on something I needed to fix and it was all friendly and has helped me greatly through the years). 

When I had first started writing, I got the most assholish “critic” on a story of mine that made me stop writing for a few months. It took my friend who was far better than me at writing to soothe me back into writing because that is how you improve and she always helped steer me in the right direction.

That’s right, I almost stopped writing forever because of one review being so downright rude that I cried and it’s still impacted me to this day that I could easily find it.

Don’t be rude to new writers.

Don’t be fucking rude to new writers or even experienced writers.

Because you may get that writer who just disappears, not taking your ‘friendly advice’ as fucking salty as I have. I had stopped taking that coated ‘friendly advice’ seriously and made sure to shove it right back in your fucking face. If I do happen to see it on someone’s work, I will support the writer because that is what we need.

Don’t sugar coat your rude ass for ‘friendly criticism’ and make sure you ask or actually give friendly advice.

Don’t be fucking rude to people who are trying their best and hardest to improve with saying things that would make them stop.

Support the writers no matter the stage they are in.

Because I sure as hell wouldn’t have been writing still if someone didn’t support me ten years ago.

So despite being friends, new friend and I haven't really touched each other bc y'know covid

Anyway yesterday I needed something and he was bent over the table between me and the thing, and there was someone I had to squeeze past to get behind him, so naturally rather than do that I just reached over his back to grab it

But without thinking I put my hand on his back to kinda steady myself and babes I almost had a heart attack when he moved to support me better while I grabbed it

Like friend allowed prolonged contact???

Bitches the night after getting the vaccine my body woke up at 3 am convinced I was DYING

I have managed to avoid covid throughout the whole panini and when I tell you my body thought this was the end I mean I woke up crying and sweating and couldn't breathe

And I lowkey don't know if it was because I fell asleep having an anxiety attack, my period started right before I slept, or falling asleep on the arm I had the vaccine in and it was sore?

Anyway I advocate for vaccination but be prepared for waking up thinking you're dead
