Empty Spaces

Broken, Betrayed and suckered,

as I am,

there is curiosity to be found

in blaming myself.

Certainly I lay claim to every single sin,

every wrong I have caused.

But this?

It is on your head,

not mine.

It make take two in order to create something special

but it only takes one leech

to drain the blood

and steal the dignity

of one foolish enough

to walk blindfolded

into the minefield 

people confused for love.
