Comes across as rather intimidating but isn’t.

Would do anything for his grandkids. (Like. Probably murder)

Marian Abbott

Grew up in a pureblood family, wasn’t part of the sacred 28 however. Her marriage to Alfred was originally a betrothal but they actually fell for each other.

Keeps a locket with a picture of her son, he was the only child they were able to have, and Marian was devastated when he died so wasted no time in taking in the kids.

Loves to cook and will literally cook so much food. Always food left over, even when she’s already cooking for like 8 people.

Encourages Winnie (and the other kids) to bring home their friends if they have no where else to go. Will happily treat any person that walks through her door like they belong there.

Got his nose broken several times while he was in Hogwarts as he used to be targeted by a bunch of Slytherins. Never fully managed to fix it, even with magic.

Hestia is a damn catch, and she knows it. However, correct me but the only guys I’ve seen her talk to recently are Stefan and Gideon and just, sweetie - No. Perhaps she should try talking to Emrys or Remus? They’re both in her house, are actually fairly decent people and are hot.  Wait, do we even know if Hestia’s straight? Does it have to be a boy?

emrys had always been a bit mischievous, even as a child. he seemed to attract danger, his mum would always say. truth be told, he sought it out. he was always walking along fallen logs, out on his own, looking for his next big adventure. he’s always been a bit of an adrenaline junkie. quidditch was a no-brainer for him. 

he absolutely adores muggle records and muggle fashion. he makes a point of making at least five trips to london during the summer and one per break during the year to go shopping and keep up with trends.

he was sure that his mother would throw and absolute fit if she knew that he was going to become a dragonologist upon graduating and his father would call him a foolhardy scoundrel, but it was his passion. he had always had a soft spot for the misunderstood creatures and, if he got to have a bit of excitement along the way, so be it! besides, he’s already constantly covered in bruises and scraped and scabs and scars. what’s a few more?
