these are notes for my willmesh fic
notes -> all very messy
i don't think i've expressed reader in a way that i wanted but i think it came out ok(?). had to search more abt what type would be best w will's chara and apparently by mbti standards is its own (INFJ) and those similar-ish so thats what i went with - an introverted (ambi maybe ww) character that mostly opens up to others quickly somewhat similar but different enough (i hope)
they ended up kinda nerd-ish and that may be mb guys i overthinked a lot writing this and that may have translated over them (im INTJ) www
i was also worried it wasnt gonna be inclusive enough - if anyone has tips pls help
hopefully in the future i can do a bigger variety of personalities but now its this ig sorry
scrapped parts consist of trying to write letters and failing miserably, trying to write more abt mell's kingdom and an outing with cielo talking abt your feelings
scarf covering his emotions -> no scarf on the way (emotional vulnerability!!)
i was trying to make it so reader is will's lucky charm (thus the four leaf clover) and vice versa (rainbow leaf) but there wasnt as many luck motifs as i wanted because that was an idea i had later
you could say that ending up in mell's country by mistake could be luck and thats what i'll go with
also, regarding the knot, i was trying to choose a chinese knot that means both luck and love but didnt find one i liked so i just went with a clover one for the theme

"Do not lower your eyes, my beloved rainbow, Why do you shed those translucent tears?" thats why i needed them crying too and i was so stuck there, im not rlly happy w that part but you gotta understand they didnt really know what he was gonna do (even if they wanted to i dont think will/ciel would tell them abt the mission) and the seeds cases were going up so
“I long to experience the passing scenery together with you.” “I long to capture the unchanging beauty of this world with you.” “Such contradictions make the present that much more irreplaceable.” bc i thought after he saw other places other than his kingdom hed always remember reader and wish theyd see it too, but i see him as slight possessive/overprotective so he wouldnt want to go out to other kingdoms i mean bro hidded mell's kingdom to protect her what makes you think he wouldnt do that to you too
there might be more but i dont remember right now
i actually wanted reader to iniciate contact but that did not go according to plan hence the finale
also if around the middle to the end is kind of weird its because i tried pulling an all nighter and had to go out the very next day also rushing to post it on the 1 year anniversary of his song ww
yea looking back i shouldnt have rushed so much but it is what it is
off the top of my head is this but I'm thinking of going back and editing some things since i already posted anyways to try to make it less bad i think,,
