As Cedric nested himself into the squishy couch of the Duchesses's family room, he couldn't help but glance around at the various things that had been left about. Nothing in particular caught his attention but trying to focus on anything was better than trying to think about why exactly Tilly had summoned him after all these years. He hadn't spoken to her in so long - was she offended? Everybody knew he rarely left his tower and even this could be considered an oddity amongst the entire populace of the castle's workers. Was this Tilly trying to do her "help the people" game with him? Please no.

Crossing one leg over the other, he would just attempt to relax and wait for the Duchess. This was most likely nothing. Maybe she actually just needed him for a more advanced magical spell for her home? That was usually the one thing people summoned him out of his tower for...most people didn't just wish to socialize with somebody such as him. (Nor did he wish to socialize with people so he couldn't really complain.)

"M-My lady." the sorcerer would croak as his fingers trailed down to figet with the belt of his robes. Waiting without any understanding of what was to happen was not anything he took well to.

“Ah. Princess Amber~ What is it that you’ve called me for? Something important, I hope?”

Of the three children his liege had somehow procured, Amber was the one that had always called upon him the least. Despite how little she pestered him he found her to be the most unbearable to deal with. Always asking him to do the most mundane tasks that – most of the time – the castle’s maids would be more than capable of.

“Well, I was going to visit Sofia, but it looks like she’s still at flying derby practice! At least I’m out of the rain!” She said pointing to the down pour happening outside, her dress dripping onto the carpet below her.

“...And you came into my workshop instead of the castle? Are you lost or something?”

The sorcerer would glance down at the young girl with a brow cocked. Even after so many years of Roland’s children barging in on him he hadn’t grown accustom to surprise visitors - let alone ones he hadn’t really spoken to before. He truly was turning into the castle’s babysitter at this rate.
