The Encantado is a dolphin-like creature found in the Amazon River in Brazil. The Encantado is a man that takes the form of a pink amazon River Dolphin. Encantados love to party and every year in Brazil they come on land and take the form of a human man to attend the Festa Junia party to join in on the festivities. Encantados are famous for kidnapping women and impregnating them. Encantado means “Enchanted One” due to their shapeshifting capabilities however when the Encantado transforms into a human its blowhole is still visible on the top of its head so the Encantado usually has to wear a hat to hide it.
