I wanted to paint a simple background to serve as an example for my commission sheet, but the more it went along the more I got carried away with details. Making this piece reminded me to take my time with creating and I even enjoyed painting the large firefly. I can't wait to share his story with you, in the meantime you can this lovely scene.

🦋🏵🍃 There are time when I just need to sit somewhere alone. The silence helps me find some peace in the chaos and small chance to breathe. That's why I painted a light of calm surrounded by shadows of chaos. What do you do when you need to calm yourself?
