New Kirby Headcanon

I was thinking about Ribbon and people saying they hope she will be detached from Adeleine as a character in the future (very valid) when something struck me…
Where does she go exactly when she is not on screen?! This is not just a Star Allies thing, she “disappears” into Kirby too in The Crystal Shards, emerging only to celebrate acquiring a shard and then disappears back inside him.
Graphical limitations? Maybe.
But that particular visual effect when she disappears inside Adeleine. The little pink circular sparkle right before vanishing. They didn’t need to add that-but they did.
…What if fairies had they ability to, oh I don’t know, posses people too?
A more beneficial or simply less pernicious version of what Dark Matter does? Just…roost in someone’s heart for a while? Protection for the fairy and/or protection for the person the fairy is possessing?
And that could be what is going on whenever Kirby or Adeleine is on screen!
(Literally the two nicest heroes. Imo, I can imagine it feeling really comfy for both parties, as opposed to your standard villainous possession.)
Poor Dedede has another reason to be jealous!
…If that’s too wild for you, then maybe fairies can shrink down to the size of something small! Pixie dust, even! We can’t see Ribbon there because she is too tiny for our eyes to make out! She could travel along in Adeleine’s pocket or Kirby’s……

Ah! …Maybe she rides on his head like a shrunken down version of how she is in Dream Buffet! 🤣 Then again, since Kirby is already shrunken in Dream Buffet, maybe Ribbon is to scale there!
