So after everything I agree with Queen’s assessment: There’s nothing wrong with him he’s just annoying.

“Am I enough?”

I was playing with the brain tease of why Kris’s soul was specifically mentioned and used for a good half of the light-related situations in chapter 4, then I considered how Kris might be feeling at the prior phone call.

Given Kris’s character, would they try to prove (mostly to themselves) that they could handle the dark world with their own power, and reduce reliance on the player’s soul.?

For a while, things were going great….until an eldritch being of a titan showed up.

How were they feeling, when they had to fall back on the player’s power once again?

I look forward to how the player-Kris dynamic evolves in the next chapter…
