Today I stayed home from school to give myself a day’s worth rest from all the hustle and overwhelming sensory stuff that comes with going to school. Instead I worked from home!
I did a 7-hour promodoro day using the 50/10 method for which the plan is above (along with a picture of my french reading). I followed a study with me 4-hour 50/10 promodoro session which I just rewinded when it was done. I hadn’t done one in ages and I missed it!
In the end I swapped two chunks since I could not possible do two hours of continues summarization. My focus wavered during the last three sessions, but I still got a fair amount done. I know I wrote down the breaks but in the end I kept it at the 10 minutes break I get anyway and ate and drank and such while studying (I know taking breaks is good but I wanted to be done before dinner and that was the only way to do so). There are a lot of things I chip away at multiple times so it has the ~ symbol, meaning ‘in progress’, but I can positively say I made some progress on all things, and, honestly surprisingly, I did everything! I really like the 50/10 promodoro method, more than the 25/5 to be honest, but I need to have the whole day off to use be able to use it. It’s definitely something I’d recommend!
