Justin cleared his throat for the sixth time as he listened to the phone ring. He desperately wanted Jordan to answer. He wasn’t sure what to say if he got her voicemail. But, then again, he wasn’t sure what to say if she answered. Finally registering a greeting in his head, he quickly answered. “Hi! Hi.” He scoffed, worrying about how eager he must’ve sounded. “Jordan? This is Justin Parker, from Altantic Records.. How are you?”

"You said we need to be fast?" Lisette asked as she walked in, spotting Xavier. She had gotten there as fast as she could.
art exhibition | liz & nate

[Text: Liz ] Gonna be late for your exhibition. [Text: Liz ] I'll meet you there straight away instead.
As soon as Nate was released from work, he ran out of the building with his arm stretched out, hailing for whatever cab that passes by. He couldn't find his keys that morning in order to drive to work, and so he found himself taking public transport instead. How he wished he could drive so that he could speed up on the way to Liz's art exhibition.
When he finally arrived, he threw the cab driver a twenty dollar bill, telling him to keep the change before he ran up to the art exhibition. There quite a lot of people - more than he had expected. Perhaps Liz was quite a respected artist after all. Nate manoeuvred the place until he found her, chatting up with a couple of visitors and looking perfect for the event.
He smoothly joined their conversation until the visitors decided to go look around again. Once left alone, he spun around to turn to her and shrugged with a sheepish smile. "I know, I know - I was supposed to help set up and all ... "

Nate only fears the day when he will not be able to attend to her needs anymore. For all the time they knew each other, they were able to complement each other because they could read each other clearly. To not be able to do only makes Nate wonder what would ever happen to the both of them - He doesn’t know if there are other things that would be able to help make the two of them click.
