I think people really overhate on season 7 of Once Upon a Time. Like yes it is VERY different from the rest of the series but that does not make it bad. I love seeing the effects Regina’s character development. I love the ways the sisterhood of Regina and Zelena evolved. I love that the anti-adoption messaging from previous seasons is challenged. I love how there was genuine poc representation. I absolutely LOVED Mad Archer and I really saw myself in Alice as someone who is queer, mad, and neurodivergent. I think people need to be open to giving season 7 a fairer chance, rather than dismissing it just because it is different.
