It’s been two weeks since Endless Summer ended. Here’s some drawing to commemorate our eternal loss and pain… MC’s recording in the Vaanu ending.

Hey… it’s Taylor. I hope you get this.

And I hope you can forgive me for going on one last adventure alone.

This is what I was meant to do. You might say it’s why I was born. I’ve realized something that I think I must’ve known all along. There’s a reason you can’t quite remember me from before La Huerta. And why I have trouble talking about parents or school. The truth is… I’m not who you think I am. I’m me. I’m Taylor. But I exist because Vaanu, and all of you, willed me into being.

Jake, I promised you a year and a day, and I’m sorry I won’t be able to fulfill that vow. Part of me will be with you always. And you I take with me, wherever I’m headed next. It’s because of you that I’m able to face this decision. The strength and the confidence you taught me… You gave me a lifetime worth of love in a few, short weeks.

Zahra and Craig, on an island where nothing was what it seemed, your perspective grounded me. You never took anything at face value, and you taught me that the truth can sometimes be complicated.

Raj, thank you for your big heart. You never took any credit for being the one person holding the group together, but I saw what you did. You made us more than a group of friends. You made us a family.

Grace and Aleister, I’ve learned that sometimes, when trying to get from one place to another, you can end up somewhere unexpected. You shouldn’t give up hope. You’ll find a way if you keep moving. In the meantime, savor every moment right where you are. Chances are, you won’t be back.

Sean, you showed me what a true leader is. Compassion is strength. Selflessness is bravery. You made us all better just by knowing you.

Diego, what would we have done without each other? No one makes me laugh the way you do. You were the missing piece that completed my heart, and I carry you with me always.

Michelle, I have no doubt you’re going to get what you want out of life, and you deserve everything.

And Quinn, more than any of us, you know what it is to fight for something with every fiber of your being. You weren’t willing to give up on a better tomorrow, so neither could we.  Whenever things felt bleak, the power of your hope was a beacon, reminding us to look toward the future with optimism. 

Estela, you’re a force of nature. Your unbridled fury can level mountains, evening out the landscape for all who reside within it. You taught me how to be fair, how to be true, and how to be just.

I didn’t get very much time with all of you, but our memories will last forever, I can promise you that.

Although our summer is over, another will come soon.

When it does, imagine me there with you… spending our days on the beach… watching every sunset melt into the sea… and gazing at stars that fill our hearts with wonder… Because with you is exactly where I will be.

       smoke breaks are a common thing in stardust—or well, outside of it. it was a time in which hosts stepped outside & rather than breath fresh air, decided to smoke as a means to ease their minds & bodies. some nights, they didn’t even have the time to do that ;  too busy with their clientele to even think about it. however, things slowed down during week days. especially during tuesdays, despite their discounts of a few selected drinks. they took turns to not crowd the area too much ; some using that time to get something quick to eat while others, such as mako, stood nearby in the intersection, watching passer-bys of all kinds. between exhales, he would try to lure whatever pretty woman he spotted—sometimes succeeding, this time, not so much. he wasn’t the problem though... he never was. just a bunch of old hags who didn’t know what they were missing.

    his eyes narrowed to the side as he spotted a glimpse of blond hair also stepping outside of stardust ; arms stretched & yawning like there was no work at all. damn guy... didn’t do jackshit & still managed to be so popular. mako didn’t get the appeal. were they even aware that he wasn’t interested in their type? the host scoffed after letting the rest of his cigarette fall into the ground & crush it underneath his shoe. his hands were hidden inside of his pockets as he turned, just in time to catch sunny be approached by a strange man. another one? this guy surely has no shame...

   sunny at first, taken aback by the stranger, blinked a couple of times before he pointed a few steps behind him. his gaze intensely set on the man asking. “uh, it’s right there, but i’m afraid you won’t be able to enter.” he meekly replies before mako joins in too with a sly grin that couldn’t be described as anything but mischievous. “lookin’ for some guy to guy action?” mako asks, clearly with the intent to expose the blond before a glare was landed at him.

   “& who is looking, exactly?”
