oh man. language barriers suck, poor reader :,( the beginners book really solidifies their future. reader probably cried seeing that book, coming to the realization that shigaraki is never letting them leave.

but imagine how much of a menace he’d be with that book. ugh it makes me angry just thinking about it. but i imagine that he’d really enforce reader to learn japanese by having them say a word/sentence in his language in order to get something in return. “you want to shower? okay, say it in japanese and i’ll let you.” or “you want something to entertain you? say it in a sentence for me.” or scumbag!shigaraki?!?!? “you don’t want me to kiss you? say it in MY language.” the terror that one book would bring—i’d have dabi burn it for me.

But what about a cult plot, though?? I was listening to Bring Me the Horizon’s MANTRA, and it made me recall a subplot in a story about a cult named “The Church of rA9″ where its android members were brainwashing other androids (through interfacing) into killing humans. They also made androids kill other androids, to prove “their loyalty to the church.”

ANYWAY. CULT PLOT!!!
