Billy arrived in Leuda with only a guitar and one bag of personal belongings. His mother mentioned a name and place when lecturing him about his plan to move out. She was talking about his cousin who made a living for herself in a place called Leuda, so that’s where he went.

He managed to find his cousin’s address by asking around about an elven woman. There must not be many elves in Leuda because she was easy to find.. Apparently, she lived in a house (fancy) so Billy felt confident that she had some cash to spare and hopefully a kind heart.

Billy looked up at the impressive house before him. Looked like he made the right choice to leave home and fail to make it as a musician before going to a place he’s never been in search of a relative he’s never met.

“Hey...” Billy paused and checked the smudged writing on his hand. “...Margie. It’s me, your cousin, Billy.”

Ford had prepared for this day more than usual. 

Thankfully, it didn’t seem like there were many differences between elves and humans, biologically speaking. The few that did exist wouldn’t likely come into play during this checkup, so Ford could breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that he wouldn’t have to relearn medicine to care for his employee’s newly born child.

Pediatrics was still his weakest skill, but it wasn’t because he lacked skill or knowledge. Rather... it was that he always seemed to struggle with children. Often, they wound up crying, for one reason or another, hand he had no idea how to calm them down. Infants were actually a little easier to handle in these cases, as their reason was usually related to pain or discomfort, and not something like “that man is scary, get him away”. 

...Sigh.

Finishing up his paperwork, he decided to head out to the front to see if Margaret had arrived yet.

♡  Valentine’s Day  ♡ Jake Dezar 

[ ⚔ ] — Jake wasn’t one for holidays, least of all one as sickeningly sweet as Valentine’s Day. And while he wasn’t really in the mood to celebrate, or go all out with his appearance, he did stop by the guild on his way home from work to get Meg a few presents. 

There was no way he’d let the day pass without showing his lady love some appreciation, though he doubted a large bouquet of roses and a couple of chocolate boxes could properly express the extent of his feelings for her.

But, still. He wanted Margaret to know that she and their unborn child were always in his thoughts. And, of course, his heart.

The two people Kyle felt the most indebted to were living in the same roof, and he really wanted to help them out somehow. Jake always had his back even if he was a little grumpy, and Meg was so caring and loving (not in that way, Jakey), it really made him feel at home in their household. He was just an outsider they decided to take in but they really made him feel welcome. 

Right now, Kyle was finishing up giving Hunter and Lucina a bath. He really wished his newly tamed wolf would give him a break after everything they had to go through... but here she was, still being rowdy. Lucky for him, Hunter was the opposite. Friendly and cooperative, Kyle didn’t have much trouble with him. “Hey, buddy. Feels better, yeah? Let’s go see what your Mom is up to.”

With two wolves at his side, Kyle begins his search for Meg, hoping she wasn’t overworking herself. She was, after all, pregnant. As an indebted man, Kyle wanted to help out Jake and Meg whenever he can and if that meant doing chores in the house, then so be it! He’s used to doing all kinds of jobs anyway, might as well add cleaning on his skill list.

Once Hunter started running excitedly-- effectively leaving him behind, Kyle knew the wolf found its elf mom. Kyle followed and called out to her, “Hunter’s all cleaned up now, he he. Need help with anything?”

Flower Festival: Adonea Theatre

Lanna always liked to show her appreciation every now and then. To her fellow employees of the theatre, she left a yellow rose and white freesia tied together with a pink ribbon. Along with the flowers was a note that read:

◤ Somehow, he’s pretty sure that this isn’t what spreading holiday cheer is all about. But it still gives him joy, and maybe it will give his giftees a tiny bit of joy. One might think he’s a fucking weirdo, but if he leaves no identifying label on his gift, how can he be accused? ◢

◤ In their mailbox, Jake and Margaret will find not one, but two cups of macaroni, the perfect dinner. They both have bright red bows on them, and there’s a note tucked in there, as well: ◢

◤ The guise of anonymity makes this a hell of a lot easier, and he’s grinning on the way back to his house. ◢

Endless Flowers || Margaret & Popuri

“Hello~ I noticed you weren’t carrying a flower! Since it’s the Flower Festival, you really should!” Popuri held out a red alstroemeria with a smile. “This is for you~” No one should be without a flower today! The basket on her arm was still quite full of flowers, each a different color and type than the ones next to it.

Can you hear those wedding bells? We sure can! Finally Luke and Sofia are joined together in holy matrimony, and this is the ceremony that took place! If you are tagged, your muse was at the ceremony. Remember that the reception will be taking place separately, and is open to the public.
