If life has a landscape, then so does death. What would a map of the world and space look like at the moment a soul leaves. What maps do we need to help us navigate death better as families, communities, society at large. Some of us have religious frameworks some don't. Some have cultural traditions around death, others have lost them. Exploring our own maps around death and dying can help us live life more easily. We can imagine and explore these maps through art therapy.

• • • • • • • • • • • I was meditating and asking for more clear signs, and then remembered the dream I had last night. It was another Doula dream. Later I asked my guides for even further guidance and did three different card pulls. The three cards gave me everything my soul wanted to hear. What’s funny is early I was journaling and asking if I’m meant to take a leap of faith into my niggling feelings of being meant for so much more. Jump Right on in and leap! I need to find my courage. Stop overthinking. My moon card said the same things. It also suggests it being a good time to start a course of study or teaching! Which falls back into my wanting to go to school for Doula work. They also indicated a trip away.. which is absolutely in the works! I’m being called to do more. Today I woke up excited about the future. I haven’t had this feeling in years. Yesterday I got to talk to my friend @h_cato about my studies in being a #deathdoula & while we were talking about our joys & sorrows, I realized how everything in my life has lead me to this very moment. She told me, “Ruby, you’re bridging a gap.” I don’t think Holly knows how much that means to me, but it made me cry happy tears! That’s a first in awhile lol. *My friends, we’re in some batshit crazy times that are kinda of depressing af...but dreams are still coming true?! Yes, my new career path might not be the most exciting for some people, but it brings ME joy to know that someone in their darkest hour is not alone & that they are being loved. I am determined in this next decade of my life (cuz I’m turning 30 next month, which is actually wild) to get what I’ve always dreamed of having & to make them into realities. We deserve the things we dream of. It’s just freakin time!
