When you have chronic illness, you have to train at least twice as hard to meet the same goals as a healthy person. Some days, you’re just trying to survive mentally while doing it. So if you show up to a class, and your coach criticizes your performance in front of a whole class, then tells you to do your work over again as a punishment... even after having disclosing that disability... well, it’s time to find a new trainer. A trainer that does this is nothing more than another wall to your goals and will potentially lead you to more injury.
