The project came to an end and the presentation process began.
For a decorative purpose I created a small sculpture to conceptualise how designs would look on a body. I also think the sculpture brought together the small illustrations of characters I was drawing throughout the project.
The presentation itself went well,
I divided the project into two main parts - the commercial and the editorial design therefore each part had one board.
I used spreads from the photobook on one board and everything to do with symbolism and the business outcome on the other.
I added hand whittled spoons as decoration on the table because of its relevance to the word culture and the Lithuanian culture in general. The spoons were created in my own time at home using pyrography and rope as decoration.
There are business cards on the table and the logo is evenly presented throughout the project for the marketing side of things.
I think the project was successful, but there are many unfinished ideas that still need working on. I enjoyed my time at the college and I gained a lot of knowledge and skills on the course (considering my previous course wasn’t art related) . It helped me realise my abilities and expand them at the same time while challenging me every step of the way.
