   There is that familiar chill in his veins.

   The ones that makes him feel like a kid again gasping for breath because his lungs just couldn't hold off the strain of pollen suffocating him slowly. Asthma had been something soothed away with steam and a quiet five minutes alone. Only now staring across the street at those familiar eyes it feels like he's suffocating again.

   Pained recognition tightens his throat.

   Steve takes a step forward without thinking.
