Since my sisters murder I have felt it is my duty to change gun laws, help those dealing with domestic violence or do something in that realm to honor her life. After a deep conversation with my husband yesterday, he made me realize that the best way to honor her would be to honor my own life. #Endometriosis has taken over my existence. She saw me suffer through my worst days of this #disease & fortunately she lived to see me find relief since she died 9 days after my first surgery. But this illness is persistent so I must be as well. I need to put all my efforts into bringing awareness to our struggle. Educating people on how destructive & life threatening #endo truly is...perhaps that is my mission in life. After all the overall goal is to help save & better the lives of others. The pain is horrible today yet I just got home after working 8 hrs. I really needed to come home and rest my body but that was not an option for fear I would be fired. People do not understand how I can be so sick inside yet look normal on the outside. They instantly assume I am lying about my health.
