End the New Jim Crow
The time to end the new Jim Crow is now! Privatized prison owners see us as commodities instead of people. They use organizations such as ALEC to push legislation that are intended to keep us behind bars (Many of these prison owners get paid by the amount of prisoners they house.) Truthfully these laws are meant to enslave the lower class. The underclass have used these very same laws to oppress us to show they are as superior as the elites. This is the only reason why the "us" mentioned means minorities. The real problem is the same age old problem since the beginning of time. The haves are oppressing the have nots (99% vs 1%) to control us so we can keep contributing money to them as consumers. That's also the foundation of trickle down economics. As long as the rich has money, they'll employ us, so we can support our families and buy their crap- trickle down economics. In order to win the war we must choose and fight the first battle. Start with the one that hits us the hardest. The one that keeps us from participating in the democratic process. The one that keeps us afraid from standing up in the first place. The one that makes it even harder to succeed while we are already fighting against small things such as the color of our skin. The one that's costing our country more than it had originally bargained for... Fight to End The New Jim Crow!
