Like Microsoft and Apple..

Good afternoon, Ordinary Readers. Or good night. Or morning. Or whatever time it is in your country. At the moment in Italy it's afternoon, just for you to know.

I was lurking here and there on Skyrim's sites, Flickr, Tumblr.. and I remembered a story about Microsoft and Apple. I remember how Microsoft invented the tablet and no one cared, then Apple after some years (8) showed its tablet and people went crazy for it like it was the most original and innovative stuff around.. After a couple of years, Microsoft revamped its tablet in order to be competitive on the market and what happened? People got pissed off and said they stolen the idea from Apple. Because Apple is phenomenal, Apple is creativity and design, there is no way that Apple could do something like this because no one can match Apple when it comes to "coolness", Apple is trend bla bla bla.. Why today I had a kind of dejavù of this situation while looking at the screenshots around the Skyrim's community? Why do I have this horrible feeling that it's more important the user's name than the content, just like Apple is robbing us of money by selling us the same products over and over again, just because of the brand? Why am I so ordinary that I can't se the real awesomeness?

zeroking45: yes, I know that, but damn I thought that in certain places wouldn't be like that, for example about videogames. In the end we're still humans.

stygiandreams: for some reason I had the same thought, I dunno.. something like "I do it until I win, otherwise I'll do not.".. And someone did quit, btw.
